catch the egg tarts quickly as they sell like hotcakes
A very quick one, as I am super tired after a long meal. It was a good meal - an eye opener. Back to basics, we visited this stall in Simee market. Took us some time to get here as I got terribly lost. Even though I had directions, I was stumped when I was told to look for roundabouts vs traffic lights on the road.

Come super early to grab these tarts (7am!). The market is pretty good, with loads of people buying their stuff and snacks for teatime or breakfast.
check those layers out
These famous egg tarts are so different from Tong Kee. No lard is used and it is super substantial - I reckon one egg tart will keep your tummy happy for sometime. I love the flaky crust and it even tastes good, when fridged overnight. Drop by the market which is opposite Canning Garden where Tesco and Jusco is located.
